DESCRIPTION:

One day old specific pathogen-free White Leghorn chicks were intra-nasally inoculated with Avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). Total RNA was extracted from of uninfected birds or those that died from IBV infection. Samples were hybridized to a Agilent custom checken oligo microarray. The GO category for biological process and KEGG pathway analysis for carried out for differentially expressed (DE) genes, and P value < 0.05 and a FDR of < 0.05 was used as a threshold. The DE genes mainly clustered into 12 functional groups. Here genes up-regulated that are associated with innate immune response are shown. Genes were considered to be significantly u--regulated or down-regulated if the change in their relative expression levels was > 2-fold or < 2-fold. The following gene symbols were not annotated in this gene set as they were not found in GeneWeaver IL1R1, JUN, DUSP4, VNN1, TLR4 and C1R.
