Gene Ontology (GO) gene set. This set contains genes that have been annotated to the GO term "erythropoietin-mediated signaling pathway", which is defined as "A series of molecular signals initiated by the binding of erythropoietin (EPO) to the erythropoietin receptor (EPO-R) on the surface of a cell, and ending with regulation of a downstream cellular process, e.g. transcription." This gene set was automatically constructed using annotation and ontology data provided by GO and only includes annotations with experimental and curatorial evidence codes (EXP, IDA, IPI, IMP, IGI, IEP, TAS, IC). The transitive closure of this term is taken into account using is_a and part_of relationships. For more information: The Gene Ontology Consortium (GOC), http://geneontology.org This gene set was generated using the GeneWeaver GO loader v. 0.2.8.

List of positional candidate genes after correcting for multiple testing and controlling the false discovery rate from genome wide association studies (GWAS) retrieved from the NHGRI-EBI Catalog of published genome-wide association studies (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/). The disease/trait examined in this study, as reported by the authors, was Other erythrocyte phenotypes. The EFO term erythrocyte count was annotated to this set after curation by NHGRI-EBI. Intergenic SNPS were mapped to both the upstream and downstream gene. P-value uploaded. This gene set was generated using gwas2gs v. 0.1.8 and the GWAS Catalog v. 1.0.1.

Analyzed the gene expression profile of a homogeneous population of duodenal epithelial cells taken from patients with active celiac disease, in comparison to control patients. Of the 3,800 genes present on the array (all of which have been previously annotated), 3549 had sufficient data across the five experiments for comparison. Many of these genes showed fold-change ratios with little or no deviation from 1. Thus, to focus on only differentially expressed genes, the list was filtered on a fo

QTL for METH responses for climbing on Chr5 at D5Byu4 (129.78 Mbp , Build 37)
Description:
METH responses for climbing spans 104.78 - 154.78 Mbp (NCBI Build 37) on Chr5. This interval was obtained by using an interval width of 25 Mbp around the peak marker (Build 37, MGI, http://informatics.jax.org).
QTL for METH responses for climbing on Chr5 at Ache (142.47 Mbp , Build 37)
Description:
METH responses for climbing spans 117.47 - 167.47 Mbp (NCBI Build 37) on Chr5. This interval was obtained by using an interval width of 25 Mbp around the peak marker (Build 37, MGI, http://informatics.jax.org).
Chronic cocaine - D1 receptor mutant vs. Wildtype DNA microarray Gene expression differences between mutant and wildtype D1 receptor mutant and wild-type mice were injected twice daily at 11:00 and 16:00 for 7 days with 20 mg / kg of cocaine. Gene expression differences 24 h after cocaine withdrawal. p<0.05 was considered as significant. Based on this criterion, we used a cutoff of at least a 1.2-fold difference in expression for further studies. (NIF Method ID 68)

Chronic cocaine - Cocaine vs. Saline DNA microarray Change in gene expression Five rats were trained to self-administer cocaine infusions (1.5 mg / kg) during daily sessions. Once rats acquired cocaine self-administration (five consecutive sessions in which rats earned all 20 infusions that were available), cocaine infusions (1.5 mg / kg) were available in discrete 10-min trials 24-hr per day (4 trials / hr). Each discrete trial was initiated by the extension of the left lever into the chamber. Each response on this lever during a 10-minute discrete trial produced an infu Genespring 7.0 A gene was considered to be expressed if its signal intensity was a minimum of twice the background in at least four of the five replicates. Upregulated genes were defined as having an average expression ratio of >1.4, and the downregulated genes were defined as having an average expression ratio of <0.7. A gene was considered to be significantly regulated if the t-test p-value was < 0.05 with the false discovery rate (FDR) as the multiple testing correction. (NIF Method ID 182)
