	Tier V	Rat		20 Genes	GS248487 Genetical genomic determinants of alcohol consumption in rats and humans
					LABEL: EtOH in Rats & Humans DESCRIPTION: Inbred rat strains (HXB/BXH) were given the choice of two-bottles (water vs. 10% ethanol) for seven weeks and then naive rats were sacrificed, RNA was then isolated and run in multiple microarray analyses. Expression data from the microarray was normalized and then probes were run through a multitude of filters to identify candidate genes. The final filter ensured that the probes had a significant (P<0.05) covariance with alcohol consumption.
