Whole brain expression correlates of ethanol withdrawal in BXD RI mice based on phenotype data in the 1997 Buck et al manuscript. Expression correlates were generated using GeneNetwork.org
Affymetrix oligonucleotide arrays to assess gene expression in brains of mice selectively bred for differences in acute functional tolerance to an incoordinating effect of ethanol (HAFT mice, high acute functional tolerance; LAFT mice, low acute functional tolerance)
Hippocampus Gene Expression Correlates for LM_CUE_ACTIVITY measured in BXD RI Males obtained using GeneNetwork Hippocampus Consortium M430v2 (Jun06) RMA. The LM_CUE_ACTIVITY measures Activity in altered context during presentation of cue under the domain Basal Behavior. The correlates were thresholded at a p-value of less than 0.001.

Hippocampus Gene Expression Correlates for LM_PS_INTVL1 measured in BXD RI Females obtained using GeneNetwork Hippocampus Consortium M430v2 (Jun06) RMA. The LM_PS_INTVL1 measures Activity in 30 second interval post 1st tone shock pairing under the domain Basal Behavior. The correlates were thresholded at a p-value of less than 0.001.

Hippocampus Gene Expression Correlates for LM_PAIR2 measured in BXD RI Females obtained using GeneNetwork Hippocampus Consortium M430v2 (Jun06) RMA. The LM_PAIR2 measures Activity during 2ndtone shock pairing under the domain Basal Behavior. The correlates were thresholded at a p-value of less than 0.001.

The production of 12 out of 27 measured factors was induced by CEsHUT including IL-1β, TNF and IL-1Ra. In contrast to sIL-1Ra production, that of IL-1β and TNF was inhibited by HDL, corroborating previous results. In addition, CEsHUT induced monocytes to produce factors involved in their localization, survival and differentiation such as CCL5 (RANTES), CCL2 (MCP-1), interferon-γ (IFNγ), granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), and macrophage-CSF (M-CSF). The production of the latter was moderate and it was not affected by HDL.

QTL for cocaine induced activation on Chr12 at D12Xrf564 (55.38 Mbp , Build 37)
Description:
cocaine induced activation spans 30.38 - 80.38 Mbp (NCBI Build 37) on Chr12. This interval was obtained by using an interval width of 25 Mbp around the peak marker (Build 37, MGI, http://informatics.jax.org).
Chronic cocaine - D1 receptor mutant vs. Wildtype DNA microarray Gene expression differences between mutant and wildtype D1 receptor mutant and wild-type mice were injected twice daily at 11:00 and 16:00 for 7 days with 20 mg / kg of cocaine. Gene expression differences 24 h after cocaine withdrawal. p<0.05 was considered as significant. Based on this criterion, we used a cutoff of at least a 1.2-fold difference in expression for further studies. (NIF Method ID 68)
